Job Description

Custom Staffing is seeking an energetic, driven, and relationship-oriented Staffing Specialist to join our growing Marysville team. In this role, you'll be at the center of our recruiting operation—building relationships with candidates, helping local businesses meet their workforce needs, and making a meaningful impact on people's careers every day. What You'll Do Recruit, interview, and place qualified candidates in positions that match their skills and career goals. Source talent through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and proactive outreach. Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruiting tools to manage candidate pipelines and hiring activities. Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding activities. Partner with Client Specialists to understand customer workforce needs and identify top talent for open positions. Build and maintain strong relationships with current employees, former employees, and prospective candidates. Respond to employee concerns and performance issues while providing coaching, documentation, and support in accordance with company policies. Create engaging job advertisements and recruitment campaigns to attract qualified candidates. Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring results. Deliver an exceptional experience to both candidates and clients throughout the employment lifecycle. What We're Looking For Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, customer service, sales, or a related field. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Confidence in making outbound calls and engaging with candidates. Proficiency with computers and recruiting software systems. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for helping people find meaningful employment.
