Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fleet Recruiter to join our dynamic talent acquisition team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the sourcing, engagement, and hiring of qualified candidates for our fleet operations, ensuring we attract top talent to keep our transportation network running smoothly. Your expertise in recruiting strategies, relationship management, and HR technology will empower you to identify the best candidates efficiently while maintaining a positive candidate experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced organization committed to operational excellence and growth. Duties Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract qualified fleet candidates through various channels including social media, job boards, campus outreach, and cold calling. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening applicants to conducting interviews and extending offers. Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever, iCIMS, or Workday to track candidate progress and maintain organized records. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and craft compelling job descriptions aligned with employment law and labor regulations. Build strong relationships with internal teams, external agencies, and educational institutions to generate a steady pipeline of talent. Conduct research on market trends and talent pools to enhance sourcing strategies and stay competitive in talent acquisition efforts. Maintain compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and company standards related to employee orientation, contracts, employee evaluation, and employee relations. Skills Proven experience in technical recruiting, executive recruiting, campus recruitment, or HR sourcing within a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively across multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in ATS platforms such as Lever, Taleo, PeopleSoft, or HRIS systems like Workday or UltiPro. Excellent communication skills for engaging candidates via social media management tools like Salesforce or ADP platforms. Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations relevant to recruitment practices. Familiarity with sales techniques including cold calling and lead generation for talent acquisition purposes. Ability to conduct interviews confidently while assessing technical skills such as HRIS systems (Kronos, Kronos Workforce Central), contracts management, and employee orientation processes.
