Office Staffing Specialist Reports to:
Director of Human Resources Location:
Walnut Creek Facility (2150 SR 39 Sugarcreek OH) with travel to other facilities as needed.
Hours:
Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30
PM Pay:
Salary Non-Exempt Job Summary This position is a member of the HR Team primarily focusing on the Office staffing needs for the following facilities; Walnut Creek, Cherry Ridge, Sugarcreek, Baltic, and Dalton. This individual will represent ProVia to anyone inquiring about becoming a ProVia employee and must do so in a professional manner while upholding ProVia's purpose, vision, mission and values. Duties & Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following : Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for office roles, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, conducting screenings, and coordinating interviews. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles. Maintain accurate and up-to-date job postings on internal and external platforms. Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews while maintaining an unbiased and professional approach. Coordinate interview schedules, plant tours, assessments, and follow-up communication with candidates. Support the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, initiating background checks, scheduling pre-employment testing, and assisting with new hire orientation. Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates through networking, job fairs, community events, and proactive outreach. Ensure a high level of confidentiality and professionalism throughout all recruitment activities. Track and report on hiring metrics, progress, and recruiting trends. Assist with other HR tasks and projects as needed. Cross train for other aspects of HR Qualifications Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and adapt to changing priorities. Comfortable interviewing and assessing candidates for both skilled and entry-level roles. Proficiency with computers, applicant tracking systems, and basic HR documentation. Ability to remain calm, objective, and professional in difficult or sensitive situations. Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, or Human Resources is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand, using a desktop computer or a laptop, as well as, other office equipment and supplies continuously
