Job Description

Shift Hours 20-30 hours per week, this is an on-site position Job Description This position will collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, then source, screen and interview candidates for posted job openings. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure accurate record keeping and compliance for the hiring process. Essential Duties This position will understand the company's hiring needs and perform activities related to recruitment for all new hires: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, coordinating some Orientation activities. Education Level A degree in HR or related field is preferred, equivalent combination of education & experience will be considered Experience A minimum of one year of Recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment is required. Work requires above-average verbal communication skills. Organizational skills are required for timely responses and follow-up. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook (for interview scheduling) and Excel (for applicant tracking) is needed, along with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Work will also require a high-level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to self-manage frequently changing priorities and time-critical projects. Physical Demands While performing the duties of the job, the individual is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. The individual is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The individual is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The individual will frequently walk. The individual must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 20 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While in Production areas, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to wet and/ or humid conditions and extreme cold or heat, and a risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the production environment is usually loud.
