The Store Operations Recruiter is responsible for all recruiting and selection processes for store operations vacancies at the Supervisor and Manager level. The Store Operations Recruiter plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent for our organization through proactive sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas to support a diverse pipeline of talent. This position requires strong interviewing skills, ability to assess talent, an understanding of the company's culture and strategic goals, and ability to partner with the business.
Principal Duties:
Execute full life cycle, high-volume recruiting activities relating to screening, interviewing, assessing, and selection for the organization. Develop and implement creative and non-traditional sourcing strategies for open positions including: research, networking, social media, cold-calling, memberships and organization affiliations; and utilizing various job board tools and social media to locate high potential candidates. Build a pipeline of diverse talent by inspiring candidates to apply to current and future openings through creative internal and external recruitment efforts. Partner with and coach hiring managers on the best recruiting practices and policies and provide guidance, support, and recommendations on candidates to interview. Maintain consistent communication routines with hiring managers. Evaluate the screening, hiring, and on-boarding processes for inconsistencies and gaps identified for continual process improvements. Conduct research and develop strategies for best practices and process improvements. Provide guidance and support as needed to support for the stores with Customer Service Associate hiring needs. Support the New Store Opening Process by ensuring that stores have identified staffing needs, have the appropriate support to advertise hiring needs and that the applicant tracking system is set up to receive applications in accordance with the new store opening timeline. Maintain the applicant tracking system (Workday) and real-time records of candidate activity. Develop strong awareness and understanding of the business and functional areas of responsibility to target and hire the best talent. Build relationships and enhance brand recognition with various colleges and universities. Attend job fairs and/or special events. Maintain professional relevance, staying current in field, having a strong understanding of all technologies related to talent acquisition.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred 3-5 years' experience in a recruiting and/or similar role Experience sourcing via social media channels Basic knowledge of applicable federal and state employment laws Previous experience working with an Applicant Tracking System Demonstrated computer and Microsoft Office skills Wawa will provide reasonable accommodation to complete an application upon request, consistent with applicable law.
