Modern Heart and Vascular is a fast growing cardiovascular care group in Greater Houston, with locations across Humble, Katy, The Woodlands, East Houston, Spring, Kingwood, Cleveland, Livingston, and more coming soon. Our Humble location houses a full suite of cardiovascular services under one roof including diagnostic radiology imaging, stress testing, Holter monitoring, vascular ultrasound, nuclear imaging, an ambulatory surgery center, cardiac rehabilitation, and dietitian services. We specialize in prevention-first cardiovascular approach and serve a diverse, growing patient population across the region. About the Role:
This is a physician liaison role responsible for building, managing, and growing a network of referring provider practices across Greater Houston. You are the connection between MHV's full suite of cardiovascular services and the primary care physicians, internists, nephrologists, endocrinologists, pulmonologists, other specialists, and urgent care providers whose patients need those services. You will work from an existing list of numerous provider relationships while continuously identifying and developing new ones. You represent a genuinely differentiated offering: one location, one order form, one relationship, and access to a complete cardiovascular and imaging service lines. Your job is to make sure every PCP in your territory knows that and thinks of MHV first. This role requires someone who can speak intelligently about all MHVI services in a clinical setting, build trust with physicians and office staff equally, and execute with the discipline and documentation standards of a high-performing sales professional. What You Will Do:
Provider relationship management: Manage and grow an existing territory of numerous provider practices while continuously prospecting for new relationships. Visit Tier 1 practices every 7 to 14 days, Tier 2 monthly, and Tier 3 quarterly. Build genuine relationships with both physicians and the office managers and clinical staff who handle referral decisions day to day. Full service line marketing:
Educate providers on the complete MHV service offering including diagnostic imaging, stress testing, Holter monitoring, vascular ultrasound, nuclear imaging, ASC consultations, cardiac rehabilitation, and dietitian referrals. Leave behind service brochures, referral order forms, physician bios, branded materials, and small goodies at every visit. Make the referral process as simple as possible: one order form, one call, and MHV handles the rest. New provider prospecting:
Actively identify and cold call on provider practices not yet in the MHV network across Humble, Kingwood, Katy, The Woodlands, Spring, East Houston, and surrounding corridors. This role is never done growing the territory. Corporate employer wellness events:
Source and coordinate on-site heart health screening events at mid-size employers in the Humble and Katy corridors. Some accounts will be provided and some you will develop through cold outreach to HR departments. You pitch, coordinate, staff, and follow up on every event. Documentation and spend:
All provider visits and event activity are logged in Monday.com the same day. You manage a company card for all purchases including goodies, food, branded materials, and event expenses. Every receipt is uploaded before end of day without exception. Your supervisor reviews your boards weekly and the data you enter drives decisions about territory, budget, and priorities. What Success Looks Like at 90 Days Active visit cadence established and documented across all existing provider relationships Minimum of at least 25 new provider practices added to the territory All MHV services clearly communicated and leave-behind materials placed at every active practice At least 2 corporate wellness events executed Zero missing receipts or same-day logs Referral order forms distributed and referral process explained at every Tier 1 and Tier 2 practice Requirements Prefer 3 or more years in physician liaison, pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, healthcare marketing, or territory-based provider relations Demonstrated ability to speak credibly about clinical services in a provider setting without practicing medicine Track record of building and growing a provider referral network with results you can speak to specifically Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred Valid Texas driver's license and reliable personal vehicle to travel to other providers' offices Proficient with Monday.com or similar CRM platforms, or able to learn quickly Based in or immediately commutable to Humble, TX How Performance Is Evaluated:
This role is evaluated on activity and relationship development metrics: Number of provider practices visited per month by tier Number of new provider relationships established per month Number of corporate wellness events executed per month Number of consent forms collected at wellness events Visit cadence compliance across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 practices Completeness and consistency of Monday.com documentation and spend accountability Referral patterns are tracked by the practice management team separately through our electronic medical records system for internal operational purposes. This role does not influence, solicit, or receive compensation based on the volume or value of patient referrals from any provider. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits:
