6-month contract starting with a strong opportunity for FTE conversion M-F, full-time (40 hours); W2 Health Benefits Offered Overview We're looking for a dynamic Recruiter ready to hit the ground running, shape hiring strategies, partner with leadership, and influence business success from day one! The Recruiter is responsible for finding and attracting qualified candidates to fill job vacancies for Supply Chain roles. This individual will be responsible for working with hiring managers to understand the needs and requirements for the role and developing recruitment strategies to fill those roles. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and proposing solutions to improve the recruiting process.
Responsibilities:
Screens and interviews candidates for selected positions, and refer best-qualified candidates to Manager/Supervisor for consideration. Works collaboratively with managers and supervisors to develop proactive recruitment plans that meet the current and projected staffing needs, with a particular focus on difficult to fill positions. Implements recruitment strategies aimed at attracting and hiring diverse candidates, including networking with minority colleges/universities, diversity career fairs, community organizations and targeting recruitment of minorities and women in areas identified in the Affirmative Action Plan. Works collaboratively with Compensation to identify market pay issues that affect a department's ability to attract qualified applicants. Effectively sources passive candidates for current and future jobs at TMZ. Ensure communication with applicants is on-going to maintain engagement during the recruiting process. Coaches and advises hiring managers/supervisors on appropriate interview techniques, valid selection criteria. Understands and improves department processes to create a more streamlined and efficient hiring process and reduce overall time to fill. Continually analyzes existing selection criteria and tools and makes modifications as necessary to improve decision-making when openings occur.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Min of 3 years recruitment experience preferred Extensive understanding of HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience recruiting within the Consumer-Packaged Goods or Food Industry preferred. Experience recruiting within the Manufacturing industry preferred. i
