20-30 hours per week (guaranteed at least 20 hours) Overview The Research Nurse is a specialized hybrid role focused on clinical patient recruitment and oversight. This position is a direct-hire, part-time role (20-30 hours per week). It combines licensed nursing responsibilities with deep-dive clinical data analysis to identify and engage potential participants for large-scale clinical trials. This role is ideal for a "jack-of-all-trades" professional who possesses a high degree of curiosity, clinical judgment, and advanced proficiency in EPIC. Responsibilities Identify, recruit, and pre-screen potential study participants using EMR/EHR systems and databases following practice-specific access and communication protocols Interact with private practice partners (COPC, OKC, CN) to ensure knowledge of patient participation and facilitate questions as they arise Develop and implement recruitment strategies Maintain screening logs and track recruitment metrics Collaborate with study teams to ensure study goals are met Act as a liaison between participants, study team, and SOC providers Provide staff education and training Obtain Informed consent and perform clinical procedures aligned with study protocols (EKG, spirometry, etc.) Perform skilled nursing procedures (infusions, assessments, etc.) and monitor patient safety and adverse events Educate study participants on clinical conditions and clinical trial procedures Requirements Active Ohio nursing license (RN) Experience in clinical research or healthcare Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of

GCP, FDA
