Job Description We're looking for a Senior Strategic Technical Sourcer with deep roots in the Silicon Valley technology ecosystem and a proven track record sourcing highly specialized Senior (Sr.) Software Engineers and Developers. This role requires someone who understands the evolving technology landscape, including how AI is reshaping software engineering, and who can leverage AI-powered sourcing tools effectively within HP's ecosystem to identify and engage the highly specialized talent we need to build what's next. You'll partner with recruiters, hiring leaders, and HR to build and deliver talent strategies for niche, business-critical technical initiatives, the kind of searches where creative, persistent approaches make all the difference. This is a fully remote role, but you should know the Bay Area competitive landscape inside and out. If you love sourcing as a craft and take pride in precision over volume, this is your role. - 5+ years of experience outbound recruiting on technical/software engineering talent
- Strong experience sourcing niche/passive Sr. Software Engineers
- Deep understanding of Silicon Valley/Bay Area tech ecosystem
- Heavy LinkedIn Recruiter usage
- Advanced Boolean sourcing capability
- Experience sourcing through GitHub, Stack Overflow, open-source channels
- Comfortable managing 10-12 reqs simultaneously
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers
- Proficiency with Workday (ATS), and Eightfold (AI-powered talent intelligence) Strong communication/presence with senior technical candidates
- Experience supporting large enterprise tech organizations
- AI/ML talent sourcing exposure
- Experience advising managers on market trends/compensation/talent mapping
- Experience in fully remote distributed recruiting environments Data-driven sourcing metrics/pipeline strategy
