Warriors 2 Workforce by Scale & Change is a veteran-focused staffing company specializing in skilled trades, telecom, and construction workforce solutions nationwide. We are seeking a driven, disciplined, and relationship-oriented Skilled Trades Recruiter to help support our continued growth across the construction and industrial sectors. This position is ideal for someone with blue-collar recruiting experience, military experience, or a strong understanding of skilled trades environments who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial atmosphere. Military veterans and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply. ⸻ Position Overview The Skilled Trades Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing skilled trades professionals including welders, electricians, telecom technicians, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, plumbers, operators, and other construction personnel. This role will initially operate remotely/work-from-home, with future plans for a hybrid or in-office environment on the west side of Indianapolis as the company continues to grow. This is a growth-focused opportunity with long-term advancement potential into leadership, business development, and account management responsibilities. ⸻ Responsibilities Source and recruit skilled trades candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, networking, and outbound recruiting efforts Conduct phone interviews and technical candidate screenings Build and maintain relationships with skilled trades professionals nationwide Coordinate interviews, onboarding, and placement activities Maintain candidate pipelines and CRM records through TempWorks, HubSpot, and related recruiting platforms Communicate regularly with candidates, clients, and internal leadership Assist with recruiting strategy, job postings, and workforce planning Support telecom, construction, and industrial staffing initiatives Make occasional sales/business development calls when needed to help support company growth ⸻ Preferred Qualifications Previous recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferred Skilled trades, construction, industrial, or telecom recruiting experience strongly preferred Military background or familiarity with military culture strongly preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with ability to work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Familiarity with blue-collar/trades environments preferred Experience using recruiting software, ATS systems, Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, Indeed, LinkedIn, or TempWorks is a plus ⸻ Compensation & Growth Opportunity $50,000 base salary during initial training/ramp-up period Eligible for performance-based bonus/commission structure after 90 days Long-term advancement opportunities as company growth continues Opportunity to help build and shape a rapidly growing veteran-focused staffing organization ⸻ Ideal Candidate Traits Disciplined self-starter Relationship-focused recruiter Competitive and motivated Organized and dependable Comfortable speaking with skilled trades professionals daily Mission-driven mindset with strong work ethic Team-oriented with long-term growth mentality ⸻ Schedule Monday-Friday Full-time Flexible remote schedule initially Future hybrid/in-office expectations as company expands locally ⸻ Company Mission At Warriors 2 Workforce, our mission is to help connect military veterans and skilled trades professionals with meaningful career opportunities across the construction, industrial, and telecom industries.
