Our client, a premier aerospace and defense organization, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) to support critical hiring initiatives within its Aeronautics division. This role is ideal for a strategic recruiter who excels at building partnerships with business leaders, driving talent acquisition strategies, and identifying top-tier technical talent. As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers while leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for engineering, technical, and professional positions that directly support mission-critical programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies and workforce plans Conduct intake meetings to define hiring needs, position requirements, and recruiting timelines Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship development Evaluate candidates for technical qualifications, cultural fit, and long-term success Advise hiring managers on interviewing best practices, candidate assessments, and hiring decisions Provide market intelligence regarding talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices Track and communicate recruiting metrics and hiring progress to leadership teams Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, procedures, and documentation standards Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within applicant tracking systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional candidate experience
Qualifications & Skills Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of Talent Acquisition experience; OR Minimum 6 years of Talent Acquisition experience in lieu of a degree Experience recruiting technical professionals across engineering disciplines including: Systems Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Experience recruiting for business, operations, production, manufacturing, or supply chain functions Experience utilizing Workday Recruiting, Eightfold, or similar ATS platforms Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently residing within and planning to remain within commuting distance of Melbourne, FL Strong ability to leverage recruiting metrics, labor market data, and talent insights to influence hiring decisions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, matrixed environment Passion for talent acquisition and staying current on recruiting trends and industry best practices
