Overview Summary This is an excellent opportunity to join F.H. Furr , a stable, recession-resistant organization, and partner with leadership to help build and scale the talent acquisition function in Central Virginia. We are seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Specialist with strong sourcing and organizational skills and a passion for supporting growth in the Skilled Trades. This role will focus on improving recruiting processes, driving hiring results, and helping position F.H. Furr as an employer of choice in the market. Job Overview This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing, essential-services business while working in a hands-on, high-impact environment. Based in Central Virginia (hybrid), with occasional local travel, this role supports full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades professionals and leadership positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner closely with business leaders to attract, hire, and retain top talent while strengthening recruiting practices and tools. F.H. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting across skilled trades and leadership roles Develop sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates Partner with hiring managers to improve selection and hiring outcomes Track recruiting metrics and provide insights to improve performance Support workforce planning and hiring forecasts Drive adoption and effective use of ATS and recruiting tools Refresh and optimize job postings to improve candidate flow Contribute to employer branding efforts, including community outreach and recruiting marketing Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field 2-4 years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in skilled trades or similar industries Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to analyze recruiting data and make recommendations Strong communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Compensation Base salary of $50,000-$60,000 plus monthly performance-based bonus opportunities. Posted Min Pay Rate USD $55,000.00/Yr. Posted Max Pay Rate USD $75,000.00/Yr.
