Job Description This Recruiter I position focuses on high-volume, top-of-funnel recruiting and sourcing for a variety of job families, including non-technical, hardware, data engineering, and software development roles. You will recruit, interview, check references, extend offers, and support orientation for new employees, while also conducting exit interviews and processing employee status changes. The role centers on passive candidate sourcing, particularly for niche and more complex positions, and operates within an agile recruiting team designed to quickly respond to fluctuating hiring demands across the organization. You will work under the guidance of a supervisor or manager, follow established processes and guidelines, and contribute to a fast-paced, data-driven, and goal-oriented recruiting environment. Responsibilities Source and attract high volumes of candidates for a wide range of job families, including non-technical, hardware, data engineering, and software development roles. Focus on top-of-funnel recruiting activities, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for multiple teams and functions. Proactively identify and engage passive candidates, especially for niche and more complex roles, rather than relying solely on inbound applications. Conduct candidate outreach using various tools and platforms to generate interest and maintain ongoing communication. Perform initial phone screens to assess candidate fit, interest, and qualifications against role requirements. Coordinate and schedule assessments and business phone screens with hiring teams and stakeholders. Prepare candidates for interviews and assessments by providing clear expectations, process overviews, and guidance. Recruit, interview, and check references for prospective employees, ensuring a thorough and consistent evaluation process. Extend offers to selected candidates and support them through the acceptance and onboarding stages. Conduct orientation activities for new employees to facilitate a smooth transition into the organization. Perform exit interviews and accurately process changes in employee status in accordance with established procedures. Follow pre-established recruiting guidelines, processes, and best practices while working under immediate supervision. Collaborate regularly with recruiting peers, including corporate and agency-experienced recruiters, to share insights and align on hiring strategies. Interact with recruiting management and hiring teams within the functions you support to understand hiring needs and priorities. Maintain accurate and timely candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruiting tools. Generate and deliver regular recruiting reports and metrics, contributing to a data-driven approach to hiring. Meet weekly and monthly productivity and hiring targets, demonstrating strong execution and adherence to performance metrics. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and recruiter ramp programs to continuously improve skills and performance. Demonstrate ownership of assigned requisitions while primarily taking direction from a supervisor or manager. Uphold high standards in candidate experience and recruiting quality, aligning with leadership principles focused on delivering results and maintaining high standards. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree (BA) in a relevant field or area of specialty. 3-5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience for the targeted candidate profile. Proven experience in passive candidate recruiting, with a focus on sourcing and engaging candidates for niche and more complex roles. Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume sourcing and recruiting in a fast-paced environment. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and recruiting workflows. Proficiency with Excel for tracking, reporting, and analyzing recruiting data and metrics. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders clearly and professionally. Familiarity with commonly used recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines while working under immediate supervision. Comfort working with weekly and monthly targets and performance metrics in a goal-driven environment. Experience conducting phone screens and coordinating assessments or business interviews. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and candidate pipelines simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling candidate information and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience recruiting within technology companies or Fortune 500 organizations. Experience in both corporate and agency recruiting environments, with the ability to adapt to different stakeholder expectations. Technical sourcing experience, particularly for corporate and technology roles. Familiarity with advanced internal recruiting tools and AI-powered sourcing platforms. Ability to pivot quickly between different job families and changing hiring priorities. Demonstrated success working in a data-oriented, metrics-driven recruiting function. Comfort collaborating with multiple recruiting teams and managers across an organization. Alignment with leadership principles focused on delivering results and maintaining high standards in recruiting. Willingness to participate in and benefit from structured recruiter ramp training and onboarding programs. Work Environment This role operates within an experimental, agile recruiting team designed to respond quickly to changing hiring demands across the organization. The team consists of internal recruiters working under a central manager, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and shared goals. You will work in a fast-paced, data-oriented, and productivity-focused environment where weekly and monthly targets guide performance. The position centers on top-of-funnel sourcing and candidate engagement rather than full life-cycle ownership, and you will primarily take direction from a supervisor or manager while still owning specific requisitions and tasks. You will regularly interact with recruiting peers, hiring managers, and recruiting leadership, and you will use an applicant tracking system, Excel, and advanced internal AI tools specifically built for recruiters. The role includes a structured ramp-up period with approximately one week of onboarding through a recruiter ramp training program. The work schedule does not require holiday work, and the environment emphasizes a fun, supportive culture that values high-quality results, strong candidate experiences, and continuous improvement. Dress code and attire expectations align with a professional office or hybrid corporate setting, appropriate for frequent candidate and stakeholder interactions.
