Our mission is to expand access to cutting-edge investigational treatments for patients across Southeast Texas — and to do that, we're building a team that meets patients where they are: in clinics, in community organizations, on the phone, and across our digital channels. About This Role We're hiring three Patient Engagement & Recruitment Specialists to join our growing team. This is not a call-center role. It's a hybrid position that combines patient outreach, community engagement, pre-screening, and long-term retention support across the full trial participant journey. You'll be the trusted voice and face of Gadolin Research for our trial participants — from the first introduction to a study, through screening and enrollment, and across the full duration of their participation. We're looking for experienced sales and client-facing professionals who want to transition into a stable, mission-driven career in clinical research, where building real relationships matters more than hitting transactional quotas. We provide full paid training in clinical research operations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, and our trial protocols. You bring the communication skills, work ethic, and genuine care for patients and their families. What You'll Do This role spans four core functions: 1. Patient Recruitment Conduct outbound phone, email, and text outreach to potential trial participants from internal databases and partner referrals Respond to inbound inquiries from patients and caregivers interested in clinical trial participation Administer IRB-approved pre-screening questionnaires and route qualified candidates to clinical staff for eligibility review Schedule screening visits and provide thoughtful reminders to support strong show rates 2. Community Outreach & Engagement Represent Gadolin Research at community events, health fairs, senior centers, faith-based organizations, and partner clinics across the Beaumont and Southeast Texas region Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, community health workers, advocacy groups (including local Alzheimer's Association chapters), and trusted community leaders Distribute IRB-approved educational materials and answer questions about clinical research Identify opportunities to expand awareness of our trials in underrepresented and underserved communities 3. Patient Engagement & Education Educate prospective participants and their caregivers about clinical trial opportunities, the informed consent process, and what participation involves Address concerns and questions with empathy, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory boundaries Serve as a consistent point of contact for participants throughout their journey with our site Support participants and families navigating complex medical decisions, particularly in our Alzheimer's and dementia studies 4. Patient Retention Provide ongoing relationship support to enrolled participants — appointment reminders, logistical coordination, and warm follow-up between visits Coordinate transportation assistance and other support services that reduce participation barriers Identify early signs of participant disengagement and proactively re-engage with appropriate, IRB-compliant outreach Document all participant interactions accurately in our recruitment and clinical trial management systems
