Summary/Objective:
The Corporate Recruiter plays a key role in driving the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting top talent to ensuring a seamless hiring experience. This role is responsible for identifying high-caliber candidates, maintaining a strong and active talent pipeline, and building trusted partnerships with hiring managers and leadership across the organization. The Corporate Recruiter also manages relationships with external recruiting and staffing partners to support company-wide hiring needs. Success in this position requires strong business acumen, executive presence, and exceptional organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at researching, developing, and executing effective recruitment strategies that bring in skilled, motivated, and culturally aligned talent to advance the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
May include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops, facilitates, designs, and implements all phases of the recruitment process including attracting, engaging and closing talent via active sourcing techniques such as social media, networking, managed searches, referrals and employee engagement. Collaborates with management to build and update accurate job responsibilities and qualifications for job posting and advertisement. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Establishes candidate pipelines and delivers a positive candidate experience to internal and external applicants. Screens candidates to determine both skill and cultural fit for positions. Schedules interviews via MS Outlook and coordinates travel arrangement if needed; oversees preparation of interview questions and other selection materials. Participates in in-person and on-line interviews and provide input to the hiring team on an individual's skill and cultural fit for the position. Prepares offer recommendations for approval, extend offers of employment and manage the pre-employment screening and onboarding process. Manages ADP Recruitment Management database. Develops a thorough understanding of USA Debusk's culture, human resources policies for discussion with candidates. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Attends and participates in community career outreach, career fairs and recruiting sessions. Provides analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the HR Management Team.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with some college in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. 5 plus years of recent full cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing, engineering, or petrochemical required. Previous experience with an ATS. Experience in building and sustaining networks of qualified, passive candidates and creating mechanisms to effectively manage a candidate pool. Excellent verbal and written communications skills Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. May require occasional travel to branch location to conduct interviews, meet with managers, or attend community career outreach or career fairs.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 plus years of recent full cycle recruiting experience in industrial services preferred. Previous experience with ADP Recruiting Management ATS. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred. CIR, PHR, SHRM-CP or related certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be willing and physically capable of travelling overnight up to 10 % as required. Must be capable of regularly speaking and hearing while utilizing hands to control or manipulate objects. Must be capable of seeing close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be willing and capable of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, or reaching above the shoulders. Must be willing and physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be willing and capable in performing computer-based tasks while sitting or standing at a computer-based workstation for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to make general decisions requiring judgement and perform activities requiring sustained concentration.
