Job Description

At MET Healthcare Solutions (MET), the Provider Recruiter position is responsible for establishing specified strategies and processes, and partnering with MET leaders to meet business needs by attracting and hiring diverse, top healthcare provider talent. This position sources and negotiates offers with healthcare providers in accordance with MET's recruiting goals and policies/procedures. In addition to performing the duties of a recruiter, the position prepares and presents recruiting effort and strategic plan reports to executives.
  • Hourly rate is the base salary for this position.
We also offer a performance incentive.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is a list of essential job responsibilities required to complete the overall recruiting goals.
  • Works closely with MET executives to understand the company's lines of business and identifies recruitment strategies to improve the healthcare provider recruitment goals.
  • Researches and develops recruitment plans for current recruiting needs to include identifying qualified healthcare providers, projecting recruitment costs based on the plan, and the ability to retain qualified healthcare providers based on compensation and other labor market issues.
  • Recruits passive and active candidates through a variety of recruitment strategies, tools, databases, and social platforms. Provides information on MET's needs and processes to qualified applicants.
  • Sources, credentials, and interviews qualified healthcare candidates to meet MET standards.
  • Trains and educates new healthcare provider recruits on MET's policies and procedures regarding their role within the company.
  • Consults with MET executives to determine (and proactively address) short and long-term staffing needs (based on contract expectation, unexpected turnover, etc).
  • Ensures a positive applicant onboarding experience throughout the recruiting process which includes timely application, contracting, and training follow ups.
  • Consults with MET executives and recommends opportunities for improvement on turnover and retention of healthcare providers after onboarding.
  • Reviews key business indicators and collaborates with MET executives to identify, develop and deploy continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the areas of healthcare recruiting, and continually evaluates external marketplace to maintain ongoing awareness of business environment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Five years of Human Resources experience with at least two of those years focused on the healthcare recruiting industry.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, or higher, through the Society for Human Resources Management preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the Spanish language (PREFERRED).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare providers, clients, MET staff, and MET executives in a manner consistent with exemplary customer service standards.
  • Proven success in hiring passive candidates.
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects at a time (with minimal supervision) while meeting MET recruiting goals and expectations.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team and accept and provide constructive feedback on current and future projects.
  • Ability to adapt to changing trends while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Possess advanced computer knowledge in various computer systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office (i.
e. Outlook, Word, excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, etc) and Adobe software.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Business professional attire is required.
  • No on-call schedule is required (except as may be required in emergency situations).
  • Travel may be necessary and will vary based on the project (travel is pre-booked/paid for by MET).
