Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Partner will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Wellby. The Talent Acquisition position is responsible for the entire recruitment process from start to completion (interviewing and referring applicants) for clerical, technical, administrative, and management positions throughout Wellby. This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the credit union, a basic understanding of Wellby's organizational structure, and an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Willingness and ability to exhibit Wellby Core Values every day. Works purposefully and is driven to provide the best team member experience. Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, departmental goals, and organizational objectives. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the organization's needs. Source and recruit candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings, social media, and other means to target candidates effectively. Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends for recruiting. This can include attending educational seminars, networking, and industry events to gather knowledge and skills. Monitor and analyze leading metrics within the credit union industry to stay ahead of hard-to-fill sourcing needs. Develops existing relationships within the region (schools, recruiters, etc.). Attends and participates in college job fairs, career fairs, and recruiting sessions. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; prepares interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other team members. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Administer and submit all hiring paperwork for onboarding new team members. Continually evaluate applicant tracking system and process for any needed changes to align with technological advances and/or employment law changes. Provide management reports on open requisitions, recruitment pipeline, and related metrics. Responsible for completing recruitment tasks in a timely manner. Provide excellent team member service expectations for prospective and internal partners. Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with the overall business strategy. Stay informed about relevant labor laws and compliance requirements. Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) Knowledge of Wellby's organizational functions, and general operating policies and procedures. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures, business English, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic. Knowledge of the personal computer and proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite products, Workday, and other software. Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity Laws, Fair Labor Standards Act, Civil Rights Act of 1964, ERISA, and employment practices and procedures. Knowledge of local, state, and federal human resources and employment regulations, laws, and practices. Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers, copiers, projection equipment, audio/video, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video Communications, and adding devices. Skilled in interviewing and talent evaluation. Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. Ability to efficiently understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform routine duties without close supervision, deal effectively with the public, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members. Ability to coordinate several concurrent activities simultaneously. Ability to possess above-average analytical and reasoning abilities. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Supervisory Responsibilities Team member does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Complexity & Scope of Work The team member follows Wellby's policies and procedures, Team Member Handbook, and federal and state laws and regulations in accomplishing assignments. The team member performs a variety of related tasks, which are mostly routine but sensitive in nature. The team member performs a moderate number of routine and generally related tasks without supervisory direction. Instructions to the team member may be general or specific in nature. Courses of action are determined by established procedures and/or the Vice President of Human Resources. The team member's work is reviewed periodically for accuracy, completion, and compliance with the policies and procedures. Tasks may occasionally have to be coordinated, integrated, and/or prioritized. Physical Demands & Work Environment The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here represent those that a team member must meet to perform the essential functions of this position successfully. To perform this job successfully, the team member is frequently required to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Daily movements include sitting, standing, reaching, and grasping; operating computers and other office equipment; moving about the office; and attending possible onsite and offsite meetings. The team member must be able to exchange information in person, in writing, and via telephone. Some stress results from contact with applicants, management, and other team members. The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Must be able to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds across the office and load them onto shelves for various needs. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work involves the typical risks and discomforts associated with an office environment but is usually in an adequately cooled, heated, lighted, and ventilated area. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. Minimum of three (3) - five (5) years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, and headhunting. One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education. Experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a corporate or agency setting. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS. Human Resource certification preferred (PHR/SPHR or
SHRM-CP/SCP
