HR Coordinator / Recruiter Hampton, VA (with travel between Virginia Beach and Hampton)
Salary:
$46,000+ annually and bonus opportunities Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 315 Logistics is seeking a motivated and organized HR Coordinator/Recruiter to join our growing Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and can balance recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, and operational support. As a logistics company we rely on strong hiring and retention practices to keep our operations running efficiently year-round, especially during high-volume periods throughout the year. The HR Coordinator/Recruiter will play a key role in helping us attract, onboard, and support high-quality delivery associates while partnering closely with Amazon and company leadership teams. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and scheduling training Maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates through Indeed, ATS platforms, referrals, and recruiting initiatives Coordinate pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, and MVR reviews Conduct onboarding and orientation while ensuring compliance with Amazon and company standards Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now and other HR systems Manage driver scheduling and staffing adjustments to maintain efficient route coverage and daily operations. Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR projects Assist with offboarding processes including termination paperwork and company property retrieval Support workers' compensation documentation and light-duty tracking Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Qualifications Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of recruiting experience preferred Experience in high-volume hiring, logistics, transportation, or delivery environments is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Indeed, or ATS platforms preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, are required.
