The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive teacher and building-level support recruitment strategies to staff schools with highly qualified educators and support staff. This role leads outreach efforts at universities and recruitment events, partners with building leadership, plans and executes teacher job fairs, oversees teacher licensure processes, and identifies talent pool for building support roles.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute recruitment plans to attract certified and high-quality teacher candidates for elementary positions. Partner with school administrators to identify staffing needs, hard-to-fill positions, and projected vacancies. Build and maintain candidate pipelines for critical shortage areas. Screen applicants and coordinate interviews in collaboration with school leaders and HR staff. Travel to colleges, universities, and educator preparation programs to represent the district at recruitment fairs and networking events. Establish and maintain relationships with university faculty, career services offices, and education departments. Promote student teaching, internship, and early commitment programs to build future teacher pipelines. Plan, coordinate, and execute division-wide and regional teacher job fairs (virtual and in-person). Actively recruits and leads division recruitment efforts for building-based support positions, including offering in-person and virtual recruitment opportunities throughout the year. Utilizes HR systems to evaluate applications, initiate hires, track teacher license expiration dates and run reports. Oversee teacher licensure processes, including initial licensure, renewals, reciprocity, and provisional credentials. Provide guidance to candidates and employees on state licensure requirements and timelines. Monitors progress on program completion for teachers in alternative route programs. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations related to educator credentials. Maintain confidentiality of reports, records, correspondence, and communications maintained in the Human Resources Department. Maintain accurate licensure records and reporting. Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required) Bachelor's degree; 5-7 years of teaching experience and a teacher license; administration and supervision license preferred; Knowledge of K-12 education environments and teacher certification/licensure requirements. Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to travel extensively during recruiting season and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.SUPERVISION EXERCISED

Busy office environment with deadlines and interruptions. Work requires establishing priorities. Work requires ability to travel.
