Job Description This 3-year consulting (1099) position is 5-15 hours per week and reports to the Director but primarily interfaces with the Executive Administrator to align internal project workflow and external communications. Duties include: Create recruitment content; Create communications timelines based on program benchmarks; Build relationship with partners for communications and recruitment, especially the communications directors of various provincial dioceses (track the communications schedules and norms for these dioceses; Liaise/coordinate communication plans); Become adept both in the voice of the Initiative and adapting that voice to the needs of various stakeholders; Update website and provide requested content components to other communications staff; and respond to external requests for CSV content or resources This position will meet on a frequent basis with the Executive Admin and may attend weekly staff meetings or meet with the director as needed. Episcopal Communications professionals as strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants with knowledge and experience in (Episcopal) church communications are preferred. A flexible, responsive, and collaborative spirit is a must. Our team uses Squarespace, Canva, Word, OneDrive, and Adobe (with access available to the whole suite, if needed). We seek to develop more streamlined means of email communication and database lists, etc. There is room for creative development of these work processes by the consultant.
