GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the full recruitment lifecycle, contributing to the growth and success of our organization by attracting top talent. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills and has a strong interest in human resources and talent acquisition. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing and Candidate Identification:
Assist in identifying potential candidates through various online channels, including job boards, social media platforms and professional networks Utilize search techniques and sourcing strategies to build candidate pipelines Proactively reach out to passive candidates and engage them in potential opportunities
Screening and Assessment:
Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, skills and cultural fit Schedule interviews for hiring managers and coordinate candidate communication
Interview Support:
Assist with the interview process, including preparing interview materials and potentially participating in interviews Collect feedback from interviewers and maintain accurate records
Administrative and Operational Support:
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and progress Assist with the creation and posting of job descriptions on various platforms Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for out-of-town candidates, as needed Prepare reports and analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Employer Branding and Outreach:
Support employer branding initiatives by participating in career fairs, campus events and online recruitment events Assist in creating engaging content for social media and other recruitment channels Research and stay up to date on industry best practices and innovative recruitment strategies
Special Projects:
Contribute to various HR and Talent Acquisition projects as assigned
EXPERIENCE
Proficiency in Google Suites is a plus Familiarity with application tracking systems (ATS) is a plus Experience with social media and online sourcing tools is a plus
EXPERTISE
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team
EDUCATION
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field What does MANITOU Group offer?
