Job Description

We are looking for a true Talent Acquisition and HR leader and builder who knows how to identify, attract, and recruit top performers in commercial construction. We are not looking for an HR administrator. We are not looking for someone who simply posts jobs and waits for applicants. We are looking for a proven Talent Acquisition leader and builder who thrives on recruiting top performers, filling difficult positions, building systems, and helping scale an organization. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to build and eventually lead our Talent Acquisition and Human Resources function. About Us We are a rapidly growing commercial construction and roofing company with operations across multiple states and aggressive growth goals over the next several years. We believe great people are our competitive advantage, and we are looking for someone who can build and lead our talent acquisition function while partnering directly with executive leadership to develop our people and HR infrastructure. Position Summary The Senior Talent Acquisition & HR Manager will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts while also partnering with leadership on key HR initiatives, employee relations, onboarding, policies, and people processes. This role requires a high sense of urgency, ownership, and the ability to recruit difficult-to-fill and leadership positions while helping build an HR department that supports future growth. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to help build something meaningful and eventually lead a growing People function. Critical Positions You Will Recruit Business Development Managers Estimators and Chief Estimators Project Managers Superintendents Roofing Sales Professionals Operations and Leadership Positions Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition (Approximately 70%) Lead full-cycle recruiting for leadership, operations, estimating, project management, business development, and field positions. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Recruit passive candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry relationships. Develop sourcing strategies and recruiting campaigns. Recruit difficult-to-fill and leadership positions. Manage and optimize ATS and recruiting technologies. Develop recruiting dashboards, KPIs, and reporting. Partner directly with executive leadership on workforce planning and hiring strategy. Reduce time-to-fill while maintaining high quality of hire. Build recruiting processes that support company growth and scalability. Human Resources (Approximately 30%) Support employee relations and performance management initiatives. Lead onboarding and orientation processes. Develop and improve HR policies and procedures. Assist with compliance and employee documentation. Support benefits administration and HR systems. Partner with leadership on organizational development initiatives. Help build and scale the HR department as the company grows. Reduce time-to-fill on critical positions. Develop recruiting systems that support company growth. Create scalable HR processes and infrastructure. Become a trusted strategic partner to executive leadership. First-Year Objectives Build talent pipelines for all critical positions. Implement and optimize our ATS and recruiting systems. Establish recruiting KPIs, dashboards, and reporting. Fill key leadership and difficult-to-fill positions. Improve onboarding and HR processes. Create scalable recruiting and HR processes that support future growth. QualificationsRequired 5+ years of recruiting and/or HR experience. 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Proven success recruiting difficult-to-fill positions. Experience sourcing passive candidates and headhunting. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Experience implementing or managing an ATS. Strong organizational and communication skills. High sense of urgency and accountability. Ability to work independently and drive results. Preferred Commercial construction recruiting experience. Multi-state recruiting experience. Experience recruiting leadership positions. Experience building or scaling a recruiting or HR function. HR leadership experience in a growing company. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
