Our mission is to provide high-quality personal care, respite, live-in support, and day services for elderly adults and individuals with disabilities or special needs. We are growing and looking for a dedicated HR professional to join our team.
Position Summary:
The HR & Recruiting Manager will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee training, and scheduling. This is a key role in supporting our staff and ensuring that our agency maintains a strong, professional, and motivated workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of hiring and recruiting: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection
  • Manage employee onboarding and training programs
  • Oversee staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage for client services
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR compliance with CT and federal labor laws
  • Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
  • Assist with HR policy development and updates
  • Serve as the point of contact for HR questions, benefits, and compliance issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred
  • 3-5+ years of HR, recruiting, or scheduling experience (healthcare or human services a plus
  • Knowledge of CT employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • HR certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus
