The position oversees the Graduate School's recruitment operations, including managing professional staff, coordinating outreach initiatives, and ensuring alignment with university enrollment goals. Support the Senior Associate Dean for Enrollment & Finance in managing and executing recruitment and marketing strategies designed to identify, attract, admit, enroll, and retain a highly qualified graduate student population. Oversee the implementation of recruitment and marketing materials, email campaigns, and related Slate business processes used to engage prospective students. Develops and maintains web-based and digital communications that strengthen the Graduate School's visibility and enhance overall recruitment efforts. Manage and implement internal communications across colleges, departments, admissions, and Graduate School staff in support of university recruitment goals. Assists in shaping marketing objectives, strategies, and implementation plans for all graduate programs as it relates to recruiting new graduate students. Promotes effective internal and external communication between the Graduate School and key constituencies, including marketing, admissions, recruiting, student services, and alumni relations. Collaborates with recruiting, admissions, and Slate Support teams to deliver training, streamline processes, and maintain high productivity. Utilizes marketing and recruitment data to support integration within the Slate CRM system. Partners with colleges and departments to assess program specific recruitment needs, define target audiences, and develop appropriate messaging and positioning at the local, national, and international levels. Works with academic units and external organizations to support partnership programs, maximize promotional opportunities, and launch new recruitment capacity building strategies. Assists in identifying and analyzing key data related to graduate recruitment efforts, providing detailed reports that inform strategic decision-making. Supports the coordination and execution of recruitment and marketing campaigns each semester, ensuring timely delivery, effective targeting, and alignment with Graduate School enrollment goals. Works collaboratively with Graduate School staff to support and optimize business processes that enhance departmental and cross-departmental functions related to recruitment, admissions, and enrollment. Utilizes marketing and recruitment data to generate reports as needed and develops performance plan reports that demonstrate progress toward strategic goals and objectives. Partners closely with the Graduate Student recruitment teams to maintain strong student engagement from the point of admission through the orientation process, ensuring a smooth transition and positive student experience. Works on special projects as assigned by the Senior Associate Dean for Enrollment & Finance. Performs other related duties as required or directed. This includes but is not limited to assignments from the Dean/Senior Associate Dean that are not otherwise stated and deemed related to the position. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to academic and/or student services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of related experience. (
Note:
a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.) Preferred Qualifications Experience working in graduate education, enrollment management, or university admissions. Demonstrated experience managing CRM systems, preferably Slate, including campaign development and reporting. Background in developing and executing multi-channel marketing and recruitment strategies. Experience supervising professional staff and leading cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Experience collaborating with academic departments to support program-level recruitment initiatives. Familiarity with digital communications tools, web content management, and email marketing platforms. Experience working with multiple student and degree populations, including international recruitment efforts. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently deliver accurate work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The role also involves managing staff, facilitating meetings, or training sessions, troubleshooting Slate processes, and ensuring recruitment initiatives stay on schedule and aligned with broader university goals.
