Position Overview:
The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the recruiting function, including the development of strategic talent acquisition initiatives. This role will work closely with our Senior HR Business partners and business leaders to build recruiting strategies that align with organizational goals. This position will manage a small recruiting team as well as providing direct recruiting support for our higher-level roles. This position plays a critical role in transitioning recruiting from a transactional function to a more proactive, data-driven, and strategically aligned capability.
Essential Job Functions:
Recruiting Leadership Develop and implement proactive, multi-year talent acquisition strategies aligned with business growth and workforce planning needs Partner with senior leaders to anticipate hiring demands and build forward-looking recruiting and sourcing strategies Establish and continuously refine recruiting processes, tools, and frameworks to support scalability and efficiency Full-Cycle Recruiting Lead end-to-end recruiting across all stages, including: Intake/kickoff meetings to define hiring strategy Strategic sourcing and talent mapping Candidate screening and selection Interview process design and execution Offer development and negotiation Onboarding support Ensure a high-quality and consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle Strategic Sourcing & Talent Pipelines Build and maintain strong pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles Leverage sourcing tools, networking, and market insights to identify and engage passive talent Partner with business leaders to proactively develop talent pipeline strategies Team Leadership & Development Manage, coach, and develop a small team, ensuring alignment with recruiting goals and performance expectations Provide ongoing guidance on sourcing strategies, stakeholder management, and best practices Data, Analytics & Reporting Analyze recruiting data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities Provide insights and recommendations to business leaders to inform hiring strategies Support workforce planning and decision-making through data-driven analysis Process Improvement & Systems Design, implement, and optimize recruiting processes for consistency and effectiveness Assist in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) build, configuration, and testing Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements Stakeholder & Hiring Manager Partnership Coach hiring managers on best-practice interviewing techniques and selection processes Serve as a trusted advisor on market conditions, talent availability, and hiring strategies Ensure alignment between recruiting activities and business objectives
Qualifications:
Required 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience 3+ years of team management experience Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, pipelining, and talent networking Proven ability to design and implement recruiting strategies and processes Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience in the insurance industry Experience supporting multi-business or complex organizational structures Familiarity with ATS implementation or optimization ORI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
