Job Description
JMT Staffing Solutions is partnering with one of Boston's market-leading investment and advisory firms that is looking to hire a VP of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. In this highly visible role as a VP of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, you will work to attract and retain talent while evaluating and improving experience from onboarding to retirement. We want candidates who can prove they are leaders and strategic thinkers, effective people managers and problem-solvers. If you are all these, and you have a solid HR background, we want to talk to you. Freshly renovated office is conveniently located downtown and offers a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote). Competitive base, bonus and benefits. Responsibilities Recruiting Provide strategic recruitment guidance and advice across the firm Develop strategies to raise the firm's visibility through on‐campus and online recruiting programs to attract top tier candidates Liaise with senior management on headcount forecasting, hiring criteria, job description development, interview feedback and hire‐decision making Interface with recruiting offices at top undergrad and MBA programs; manage online recruiting through campus systems and recruiting sites to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential candidates Network with candidates, identify talent, screen prospective candidates and maintain active dialogue with potential hires Work closely with the COO and internal teams to coordinate all aspects of the recruiting process (scheduling, interviews, etc.) as well as manage external search firms when needed Ensure and update the firm's hiring initiatives, including maintaining strong focus on diversity, equity and inclusion HR and Talent Management Ensure a fluid and seamless candidate experience, including helping new hires through the onboarding, orientation and training process Develop a deep, data‐driven understanding of the market for talent and all aspects of the recruiting and hiring process, including market trends for compensation and benefits levels and structure, as well as other terms of employment Manage annual review process that includes industry compensation analysis, 360 feedback and scheduling Develop and manage all aspects of internal mentoring programs Ensure proper training and "team building" initiatives in place, including supporting coordination of firm outings and events Partner with other members of Operations team on ad hoc projects throughout the year.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with strong academic credentials, MBA and/or prior experience in investment banking is a plus Driven, highly organized, great attention to detail, creative, and personable Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work successfully as part of a team 5‐10 years of recruiting experience; in‐house experience working in talent management is a plus Comfortable with numerical analysis of compensation and benefits packages Interviewing skills and good judgment Excellent listening skills, curiosity, high emotional intelligence A positive attitude, proactive approach and ability to take the lead on deadline‐driven projects Strong planning, organizational and follow‐up skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information If you feel this could be an ideal match, please apply today or call JMT Staffing at 781-558-2589 for immediate consideration!Job Type:
