The Talent Acquisition Manager leads all recruitment functions for our behavioral health organization, developing and executing strategic hiring initiatives that attract mission-aligned, highly qualified professionals. This role is critical to building a diverse, skilled workforce capable of delivering compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services to our communities. The Talent Acquisition Manager partners closely with clinical and operational leaders to understand workforce needs and delivers full-cycle recruitment solutions across all roles.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Strategic Recruitment & Workforce Planning Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization's growth, mission, and values. Partner with the VP of Operations, clinical directors, and department heads to forecast hiring needs and build proactive talent pipelines. Analyze workforce data and recruitment metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Lead succession planning conversations and contribute to workforce development strategy. Full-Cycle Recruiting Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding coordination. Develop and maintain competency-based, equitable interview frameworks for all roles. Conduct behavioral and situational interviews to assess candidates' clinical competency, values alignment, and cultural fit. Ensure all hiring practices comply with applicable employment laws and organizational equity policies. Employer Branding & Sourcing Champion the organization's employer brand to attract mission-driven candidates, Build and maintain relationships with universities, training programs, licensing boards, and professional associations in behavioral health fields. Leverage multiple sourcing channels including job boards, social media, community partnerships, and employee referral programs. Design and execute recruitment marketing campaigns tailored to behavioral health talent pools. Team Leadership & Development Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters and/or HR coordinators supporting talent acquisition functions. Set performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct formal performance evaluations. Ensure weekly key performance indicators are being met. Foster a collaborative, high-accountability team culture consistent with the organization's mission. Systems, Compliance & Reporting Review ATS weekly to ensure data integrity, compliance, and reporting accuracy. Maintain compliance with EEOC, ADA, and other applicable regulations; ensure accurate record-keeping. Prepare and present regular recruitment reports and dashboards to leadership, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and diversity metrics. Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes for efficiency and candidate experience. Qualifications -Education and Experience:
Required Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years in management or lead capacity. Proven experience with multi-state hiring. Demonstrated experience recruiting for clinical, behavioral health, or social services roles. Strong knowledge of employment law, EEOC compliance, and equitable hiring practices. Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence hiring decisions through consultative guidance. PreferredAIRS/CIR
recruiting credential. Experience in mental health or substance use disorder treatment setting. Familiarity with credentialing and licensing requirements for behavioral health clinicians.
