Our client is a trusted manufacturer's representative that provides solutions for the constantly evolving electrical industry. They offer a wide range of products and solutions to fit your project needs. They are looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for growing profitable sales of their services and product lines. The Sales Account Manager owns the market and account planning and must be able to turn ambiguous requests into competitive solutions for customers.Job Description:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing the sales approach for every stage of a project including:Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers (distributors, contractors, engineers) to foster trust and drive business.Strategic Selling & Quoting:
Develop strategic plans for major opportunities, provide accurate and timely quotes tailored to customer needs, and manage projects for key accounts.Sales Support & Coordination:
Act as the first line of sales support, handle assigned accounts, delegate non-assigned accounts to inside sales, and collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets.Requirements:
5-15 years of experience selling electrical equipment into the commercial construction or solar industry, ideally with medium voltage electrical equipment, switchgear, transformers, and renewable systems. Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic with a focus on a team-oriented approach and building strong relationships with various stakeholders (contractors, distributors, manufacturers, reps, internal team). Previous inside sales experience is preferred but not required. Must have a valid driver's licenseLocation:
This is a hybrid work environment where candidates should be based in the Greater Boston area with the ability to get to an office 3-4x/week in their first year. After ramping, you will be covering the New England Region and must willing to travel to meet clients in person 25-50% of the time. Job #5681Base Salary:
