Job Description

Blackstone Law APC is a results-driven employment law firm dedicated to protecting workers' rights throughout California and beyond. We handle a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and class actions. We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to help us build the team and retain the talent that will continue driving our mission forward. This position is hybrid in Beverly Hills.
Responsibilities:
Partner with firm leadership to define hiring needs and build role-specific recruiting strategies across California and our expanding multi-state footprint.
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process:
sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and conducting virtual interviews Source and engage passive candidates for attorney and litigation support roles through networking, referrals, legal recruiting platforms, and direct outreach Build and maintain relationships with law schools, legal recruiting agencies, and professional associations to create a strong, consistent talent pipeline Monitor trends and movement within the legal community, including attorney turnover and firms experiencing an exodus, using AI-powered tools to proactively identify recruiting opportunities and stay ahead of market shifts Partner with specialized recruiting agencies to fill niche positions, managing agency relationships and ensuring candidates meet the firm's standards Develop and refine job descriptions, interview rubrics, and evaluation criteria in collaboration with hiring attorneys Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience that reflects the firm's reputation and mission Track recruiting metrics and provide regular reporting and recommendations to firm leadership Stay current on employment law recruiting trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices across Los Angeles and broader multi-state legal markets Support broader HR functions as needed, including onboarding coordination and employer branding initiatives
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, ideally within a law firm, professional services, or legal industry setting Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting for both attorney and staff roles Strong understanding of legal industry hiring practices, credentialing, and candidate evaluation Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to work closely with attorneys and firm leadership Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential candidate and firm information Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment while staying closely connected to a small team
Bonus Qualifications:
Prior experience recruiting specifically for employment law or litigation practices Familiarity with Paylocity and Monday.com Existing network within the Los Angeles or Southern California, or broader legal community Experience supporting multi-state recruiting across markets in growth-stage professional services firms
Pay:
$100,000+ per year plus bonus eligibility. Salary commensurate with experience.
