Make An Impact :
The Senior Director of America's Talent Acquisition will design, implement, and oversee the overall talent acquisition functions. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for hiring and developing top-tier talent. The Senior Director will work closely with leadership to develop a comprehensive strategy that builds a robust talent pipeline through effective recruiting, identifying the company's training needs, developing programs to enhance skills and performance, and attracting exceptional talent to support the company's growth and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Collaborate with leadership to assess organizational training needs and hiring priorities.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
Partner with the broader HR team, recruiting agencies, educational institutions, and other key sourcing areas (LinkedIn, local community, etc.) to ensure that recruitment processes positively impact employee engagement, promote equity, and foster an inclusive culture. Oversee the overall candidate experience and continuously improve the candidate's journey from prospect to hire. Own the recruitment process for key executive roles. Partner with the communications team and various HR partners to develop a strong employee brand. Develop and execute effective and innovative recruitment initiatives that attract and retain a diverse workforce.
Change Management:
Lead change management initiatives to support the adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working. Facilitate organizational development activities promoting a learning, adaptability, and inclusion culture.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Measurement and Technologies:
Develop metrics and evaluation systems to measure the effectiveness and impact of training programs and recruitment processes. Continuously assess the quality and outcomes of learning initiatives and make data-driven improvements. Report on Talent Acquisition metrics to senior leadership, demonstrating the return on investment of learning programs and recruitment efforts. Leverage systems such as an ATS, LMS, etc., to automate and optimize the employee experience.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads and HR partners. Communicate the value and impact of learning, development, and talent acquisition initiatives to the organization. Foster a culture of continuous learning, development, and talent engagement across the organization.
Who You Are :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or other related field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of designing and implementing successful recruitment initiatives. Strong understanding of adult learning principles, performance management, and talent acquisition strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into effective learning and talent acquisition solutions. Experience working in a global multinational environment with multiple divisions (field, distribution, corporate), brands, and revenue categories. Experience using design programs (Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite), learning management systems (LMS), and recruiting technology (e.g., ATS). Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
