Job Description

At SailPoint, the Customer Experience & Enablement team is on a mission to grow identity security skills to meet the increasing demand for talent in the Identity Security industry. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Training & Certification Development, you will be a key leader in scaling our training programs through operational excellence and strategic vendor management. You will own the program management of our training content maintenance workflows, ensuring ongoing quality, efficiency, and impact. You will manage the relationship and workload of our training development vendor(s), collaborate closely with your colleagues across the business, and implement innovative operational approaches to enhance effectiveness. Your leadership will be key in driving seamless execution and continuous improvement for our global training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end program management of training maintenance operations, working closely with the Sr. Program Manager, Training & Certification Development to ensure seamless execution of learning product maintenance by aligning cross-functional teams (Vendor team, internal SMEs, LMS admins, and GTM) around priorities, resources, and timelines.
  • Establish and enforce operational quality standards for all vendor-executed training projects, including branding guidelines, templates, and development best practices, incorporating industry benchmarks and customer insights.
  • Working collaboratively with the Learning Operations Program Manager, and aligned with the processes of the rest of the Training & Certification Development team, drive adoption of internal team-vendor workflows for training development and review, enabling quality assurance, actionable feedback, and timely hand-offs.
  • Manage training operations vendor relationships and budgets, ensuring appropriate vendor selection, seamless vendor onboarding, cost-effective resource allocation, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and maintaining compliance with project deliverables and SOWs.
  • Track and report on training operations success metrics via quarterly business reviews and use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and identify ways to enhance operational efficiency and training effectiveness.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in scalable training operations and vendor management best practices, collaborating across curriculum development, vendor, and Operations teams to drive innovation and impact.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, vendor management, or training operations, preferably in a corporate or SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of multiple external vendors simultaneously, including budget oversight, SOW compliance, and SLA enforcement.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with a team to build, scale, and optimize development processes that align with business objectives and drive efficiency.
  • Results-oriented leader with experience establishing success metrics and using data to drive operational and process improvements.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business priorities, balance competing demands (i.e. budget, resources, timelines, stakeholder needs), and align operations with strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong track record for working collaboratively across global teams, managing stakeholder needs effectively, and influencing without direct authority.
  • A strong aptitude for process optimization and building scalable operational workflows from the ground up.
  • Proficient in using project management and data reporting tools (e.
g. Asana, Smartsheet, MS Excel) and familiar with learning development authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a role that involved managing the outsourcing of digital content development for a SaaS or technology company.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development technologies and tools (i.e. LMS platforms, eLearning development tools, other content creation tools), learning analytics, and training impact measurement.
  • Experience in contributing to the evaluation, onboarding, and offboarding of third-party vendors.

Spearhead a strategic initiative to successfully cut the average time-to-market for updated training content by 25% from the original baseline. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint's differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD): $77,200 - $130,154.00 Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee's home location.
