Job Description

Job Summary The Assistant Director supports the overall management and daily operations of the organization by providing leadership in personnel management, safety and security programs, and employee training and development. This position assists in establishing and maintaining a safe, productive, and compliant work environment while ensuring staff members are properly trained, supported, and held accountable to organizational standards. Responsibilities Assist in the supervision, development, and performance management of employees. Coordinate staffing activities, employee scheduling, and workforce planning. Develop, implement, and monitor safety and security policies, procedures, and compliance programs. Conduct workplace safety inspections, investigations, and corrective action planning. Lead employee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training initiatives. Ensure staff maintain required certifications, training requirements, and professional development goals. Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication, coaching, and employee engagement. Support organizational leadership in achieving operational objectives, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts. Respond to emergencies and provide leadership during safety, security, or personnel-related incidents. Maintain accurate records related to personnel, training, safety compliance, and security protocols. Qualifications Supervising experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Excellent public speaking skills combined with effective management capabilities to lead diverse teams confidently. Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration or a related field required.
Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year
