Job Description

The Role An engineering and infrastructure organization is seeking a Nuclear Training Manager to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive nuclear training and qualification program. This role supports onboarding, qualification, and ongoing development of nuclear professionals across engineering, licensing, construction, commissioning, procurement, and quality functions. The position provides strategic oversight of training initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and workforce readiness. Key Responsibilities Lead and continuously improve an enterprise nuclear training and qualification program. Design and deliver effective training curricula, assessments, and instructional materials. Partner with internal SMEs to develop and maintain qualification programs and role-based requirements. Align training priorities with nuclear leadership and project needs. Coordinate delivery of instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs. Maintain training procedures, records, and documentation to support compliance and audits. Ensure alignment with NRC/DOE regulations and QESH standards. Oversee LMS optimization and training metrics, providing insights to nuclear leadership. Manage training budgets, schedules, and cross-program alignment with corporate and operational training. Collaborate with HR and IT to support training technology and delivery tools. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in training delivery, instructional design, or training program management. Nuclear industry experience (engineering, construction, quality, operations, maintenance, or plant training). Experience establishing and maintaining NANTeL-based training programs. U.S. Citizenship or Naturalized U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements. Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of NQA‑1, ASME, and Appendix B training requirements. Experience in NRC and/or DOE regulated environments. Experience managing technical training programs within an LMS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors). Strong expertise in systematic approach to training (SAT).
