Education The Director of K-12 Partnerships serves as the statewide strategic leader for the LCTC System K-12 ecosystem, driving partnerships, innovation, and alignment across secondary education, post-secondary pathways, and workforce development. This role is designed as a high-impact leadership position responsible for strengthening collaboration with local school systems, charter organizations, the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE), BESE, post-secondary institutions, and industry partners. The Director will lead the development of scalable early college opportunities, workforce-aligned pathways, and innovative education models that expand student access to high-demand careers. In parallel, the position is intentionally structured as a leadership pipeline to build the operational, academic, and governance foundation for a future LCTC-affiliated statewide charter school network. Over time, the role will evolve into an Executive Director position overseeing charter authorization, governance, and innovative school models aligned with Louisiana's economic priorities. Strategic Leadership and Partnership Development Execute a statewide vision for K-12 partnerships, early college access, and workforce-aligned pathways Expand and strengthen partnerships with LDOE, BESE, school districts, charter networks, industry leaders, and postsecondary institutions Design and scale college and career pathway models that align with workforce needs Imbed a strategic framework for future charter school leadership and governance Charter Development and Governance Infrastructure Execute charter authorization models and governance structures Develop readiness frameworks and implementation strategies for future charter initiatives Advise executive leadership on innovative school models and expansion opportunities Compliance and Accountability Ensure alignment with Louisiana education policies, BESE requirements, ESSA/ESEA, and dual enrollment regulations Monitor legislative and policy developments impacting K-12 and workforce initiatives Maintain strong reporting systems and accountability measures Program Development and Academic Alignment Implement K-12 programs and initiatives Align all efforts with LCTC priorities and statewide workforce goals Ensure academic quality, rigor, and relevance across all pathways Financial Strategy and Resource Development Support budget planning and long-term financial sustainability Identify and secure funding through state, federal, and philanthropic sources Contribute to grant development and strategic investment planning Stakeholder Engagement and External Relations Serve as a statewide ambassador, engaging educators, families, policymakers, and employers Represent LCTC in education reform and workforce development initiatives Build strong, trust-based relationships across sectors Organizational Leadership Expand systems and structures to support future charter network expansion Lead cross-functional collaboration across LCTC divisions Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement Required Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in K-12 education, post-secondary partnerships, charter schools, or systems-level leadership Proven success in partnership development, strategic planning, and organizational leadership Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of Louisiana's education landscape and workforce pathways Preferred Education :
Master's degree or higher in education leadership, policy, or a related field Preferred Experience :
Experience with Louisiana K-12 systems, charter schools, or BESE/LDOE
