Contract Job Overview:
The Production Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing training systems and programs within a manufacturing environment. This role supports workforce development, quality system compliance, process improvement initiatives, and training technology enhancements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirement/Must Have:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 6 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience developing and implementing training systems and programs. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems. Ability to analyze data and resolve complex operational issues. Experience working in regulated or quality-controlled environments. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently on complex assignments and projects. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience:
Experience identifying training needs and developing training solutions. Experience supporting certification and compliance training programs. Experience maintaining and improving quality systems. Experience managing projects from concept through implementation. Experience troubleshooting automated systems and business processes. Experience implementing process improvements and training technology enhancements. Experience working with cross-functional and global teams. Experience developing procedures, workflows, and training documentation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement training systems by identifying training needs and recommending effective learning solutions. Research, evaluate, and implement training methods and technologies. Maintain and enhance quality systems by identifying and resolving process-related issues. Assess manufacturing personnel training needs and identify knowledge gaps. Recommend and implement solutions to address training and certification deficiencies. Introduce and support training system upgrades and process improvements. Collaborate on global training and process improvement initiatives. Support business functions by promoting consistency across systems and processes. Troubleshoot automated systems and coordinate corrective actions as needed. Plan, organize, and manage complex projects and project milestones. Establish project priorities and ensure timely completion of assigned initiatives. Analyze and resolve complex operational and procedural challenges. Develop innovative solutions to improve training effectiveness and business processes. Independently make decisions and recommendations related to projects and process improvements. Design, develop, and modify area-specific procedures and processes. Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across functional areas. Prepare documentation, reports, and analyses to support business objectives and compliance requirements.
Should Have:
Experience in manufacturing training or learning and development environments. Experience working with automated learning or training management systems. Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to lead cross-functional projects and training programs.
