Job Description

Rural Regional Healthcare Workforce Strategist Rural Regional Healthcare Workforce Strategist Duties & Responsibilities This position is a collaborative effort among Bladen Community College, Sampson Community College, and Southeastern Community College and is funded through the Health Educators and Employers Aligned Local Strategies (HE²ALS) initiative. The selected candidate will be employed by one of the participating institutions and will serve the healthcare workforce development needs of the entire Sandhills Regional Partnership. Duties Duties (Continued) Minimum Requirements Minimum Requirements Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, healthcare, workforce development, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in workforce development, education partnerships, healthcare systems, community colleges, or career recruitment services. Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-institutional collaborations, and partnerships without direct supervisory authority. Strong skills in relationship management, data analysis, and strategic planning. Ability to travel extensively throughout the service region, including day, evening, and occasional weekend events. Preferred Requirements Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, healthcare, workforce development, or a related field. Familiarity with the Sandhills region and/or North Carolina's community college and healthcare landscape. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and screened for candidates who meet the qualifications of the position.
