Your Daily Grind Oversee 4-6 Scooter's Coffee locations within Omaha Nebraska and surrounding areas. To create an amazing experience for each life we touch Ensure stores are operating up to MaDillan and Brooks Enterprises & Scooter's Coffee's operating standards, including the execution of the 3 Amazing's. (Amazing People, Amazing Drinks, Amazingly Fast) Hire, train, develop, and retain a team of strong managers within the district focusing on store operations, customer service, leadership, and management tasks. Train and empower store managers to develop a bench of leaders among their internal employees who are ready to step into leadership roles as needed. Train & hold store leaders accountable to maintaining a fully staffed team within their store and create a positive & friendly work environment. Identify when a micro-culture within a single store is not up to standard (aligned with core values) and work with the store leader to fix the issue Recognize when high turnover exists in any given location and work with that store manager on solving this issue through culture and leadership improvement. Identify issues of subpar customer service or store culture and make recommendations to quickly improve these issues. Identify bottlenecks potentially hindering speed and create an action plan to remove these issues and increase revenue. Monitor and maintain company budgets, utilizing the tools & guidelines provided. Be a leader throughout the company, representing positivity, problem solving skills & grit. Set goals and create accountability measures within your team of leaders. Work in stores, side by side, with managers daily. During this time you will be identifying areas of opportunity for coaching and providing that feedback routinely. Understand how to coach and direct a morning rush as well as teaching management teams to be successful in this area. Ensure that the overall appearance of each store represents the Scooter's brand with excellence. Pride of place throughout the district should be maintained. Ensure comprehensive cleanliness and organization is maintained. Requirements Ability to provide consistent and effective leadership to multiple operations. Ability to provide effective accountability to a team of leaders. Knowledge of Excel and Google Office Suite. Problem solving using analytical, creative and critical thinking skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure consistent and quality customer experience through proper staffing, execution of brand beverage recipes and techniques, and fostering the Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experience Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, visual merchandising standards, food safety standards, and equipment Interview, hire, train, and develop staff to demonstrate all company standards in customer experience and operations Provide ongoing performance feedback and development for staff members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance Maintain accountability in employees using progressive discipline process; partner with District Manager and, when necessary, Human Resources to make termination decisions Determine daily and weekly staffing requirements based on business need and create work schedules accordingly Implement a varied schedule to develop employees, meet business needs, and maximize sales potential across all hours of operation Contribute to store profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales and by managing expenses Maintain company standards in personal and store sales/performance metrics Encourage and ensure full team participation in both setting store goals and developing action plans to accomplish goals Ensure all cash handling, point of sale system, safety, and operational procedures are performed in an accurate, consistent manner Maintain daily, weekly, and quarterly financial reports Maintain final accountability for store operations Regular and predictable attendance
