Position Overview:
As the Training Manager at NRG Adventure Park, you are responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through seamless event execution and a well-trained, high-performing team. This role combines event leadership, team development, and community engagement to ensure every guest interaction reflects NRG's standards. You will lead all aspects of event operations, from booking through execution, while also owning the training and development of shareholders and frontline team members, especially party hosts and guest-facing staff. Your ability to coach, organize, and energize your team will be key to driving consistency, safety, and memorable experiences. This role requires a hands-on presence during peak business hours, particularly weekends when the majority of events take place.

10-hour shifts (peak event days)
Weekday Schedule:
Approximately 8-hour shifts focused on training, planning, and administrative responsibilities Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays Essential Job Functions: Training & Team Development Lead the training and onboarding of party hosts, shareholders, and guest-facing team members Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and service standards Coach team members in real-time to ensure consistency in guest interaction, safety, and service delivery Conduct ongoing training sessions and refreshers to improve performance and engagement Partner with leadership to identify talent and support employee development and retention Ensure all team members are properly trained on safety protocols and park procedures Additional Responsibilities Support daily operations as needed, especially during peak hours Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage for events and training sessions Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old 3-5+ years of experience in event management, hospitality, training, or guest services (supervisory experience required) Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Passion for training, development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic office software Energetic, positive, and team-oriented mindset Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Free or discounted park admission Fun, energetic work environment Opportunities for advancement Be part of an awesome team creating memorable experiences for families and friends NRG Adventure Park fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws by providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, and genetic information (including family medical history), or any other legally protected status.
