When you join our team, you earn your edge every day, and we make sure it pays off Role Mission The Learning Manager builds and deliver scalable training and development programs that increase workforce capability, improve execution in the field and office, and accelerate career progression across the company. This role ensures every Builder has the knowledge, tools, and confidence to perform safely, efficiently, and to Hewitt Young's standards. Core Responsibilities Build, manage, and deliver technical, operational, and leadership training programs for field and office roles. Partner with Operations, Safety, and HR to identify training needs based on performance trends, skill gaps, and future workforce requirements. Coordinate and deliver new-hire onboarding to reduce ramp time while increasing clarity, connection, and role readiness. Develop career path frameworks for key roles (PM, Foreman, Estimator, Coordinator, Field personnel, etc.). Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and reporting for leadership visibility and regulatory compliance. Implement and manage a scalable Learning Management System (LMS) to streamline training access and adoption. Train supervisors and department leaders on how to coach, evaluate, and grow their teams. Measure training outcomes and evolving programs based on real-world performance data. Represent HY with professionalism when coordinating external trainers, apprenticeship partners, workforce agencies, and schools. Must-Have Competencies 5-10 years of experience in training, instructional development, or workforce development within construction, trades, or operational industries. Strong facilitation and communication skills with confidence in field and office training environments. Ability to build structured training programs with clear learning objectives and evaluation mechanisms. Experience with LMS platforms, training technology, and digital content development. Analytical mindset with ability to track learning outcomes and connect results to performance. Ability to travel to job sites and locations based on business needs.
