Role Overview
Seeking an interim Training Manager to backfill a retirement and provide immediate leadership continuity for an established Epic training team
Must be available to step in quickly and assume day-to-day management with limited ramp-up time
Team Management & Leadership
Direct supervisory oversight of an Epic training team
- managing trainers, workload distribution, performance, and team morale through a period of transition
Ability to maintain team stability and momentum while longer-term organizational decisions are being made
Strong communicator who can quickly build trust with an existing team and key stakeholders
Hands-on involvement in day-to-day coordination
- scheduling, resource planning, communication with project and operational leadership
Comfortable managing competing priorities across departments and user groups
Epic Training Expertise
Demonstrated experience managing Epic training programs
- including curriculum development, training environment coordination, credentialing, and go-live support logistics
Familiar with the operational rhythms of an Epic training department and able to hit the ground running without significant onboarding
Organizational Redesign Experience
Experience working in or leading training teams through a de-merger, designing (or redesigning) training programs or significant organizational restructuring
Ability to assess the current training team structure and contribute to redesign efforts•including redefining roles, workflows, and staffing models as the organization separates
