Exempt Position Summary The Training & Development Business Partner partners with leaders across the organization to build employee capability, meet compliance requirements, and support business goals through learning and development. This role designs, delivers, and evaluates onboarding, compliance, leadership, and professional development programs while serving as a trusted advisor to managers by identifying development needs, recommending learning solutions, measuring effectiveness, and promoting a culture of continuous learning. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Learning Strategy & Business Partnership Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps, training priorities, and development opportunities. Develop annual learning and development plans that align with company goals. Consult with managers on employee development plans and performance improvement through training. Recommend learning solutions that improve productivity, quality, compliance, and employee engagement. Analyze workforce trends to anticipate future development needs. Training Program Development Design and develop self-paced training programs. Create learning materials including presentations, job aids, videos, and e-learning content. Maintain standardized training curriculum for all departments. Continuously evaluate and improve training content based on participant feedback and business outcomes. New Hire Onboarding Lead the organization's onboarding program to improve required new hire training and speed to productivity. Partner with hiring managers to develop department-specific onboarding plans. Evaluate onboarding effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics. Compliance Training Manage all required compliance training programs. Maintain training assignments and completion records within the LMS. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, and other department leaders to keep training current with regulatory requirements. Prepare reports demonstrating training completion and compliance. Learning Management System (LMS) Serve as system administrator for the LMS. Upload and maintain course content, learning paths, assignments, and user records. Troubleshoot LMS issues and support employees and managers. Generate reports and analyze learning metrics. Vendor & Program Management Manage relationships with external training providers and learning vendors. Monitor training budgets and recommend cost-effective learning solutions. Measurement & Continuous Improvement Measure training effectiveness using evaluations, knowledge assessments, completion rates, and business performance metrics. Analyze training data and prepare reports for HR leadership. Recommend improvements based on organizational needs and employee feedback. Stay current on learning trends, instructional design methods, and adult learning principles. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or related field. 4+ years of experience in training, learning and development, organizational development, HR, or a related field. Experience managing Learning Management Systems. Strong project management and organizational skills. Strong facilitation and presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Ability to manage multiple initiatives while meeting deadlines. Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications Experience with instructional design software and e-learning authoring tools. Experience supporting leadership development programs. Experience within financial services, collections, banking, or another regulated industry. Knowledge of adult learning principles and change management practices.
