ExemptJOB SUMMARY
The Training and Development Supervisor leads and coordinates site learning activities to ensure team members are trained, qualified, and performance-ready to safely meet customer and operational requirements. This role designs, delivers, and tracks onboarding, process training, refresher training, and development programs; maintains training documentation and partners with Operations, Safety, and People & Culture to support a high-performance team. The position directly supervises Site Liaisons and Housekeeping Team Members and is responsible for coaching, scheduling support, performance management, and continuous improvement within these teams.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise Site Liaisons and Housekeeping Team Members, including onboarding, training, coaching, work assignments, time/attendance accountability, and day to day direction. Provide performance feedback and coaching, partner with People & Culture on corrective action, investigations, and documentation as needed. Conduct classroom and on the job training across departments; provide refresher training and skill reinforcement based on performance trends, audits, and changes to procedures. Safety processes - facilitate safety initiatives and help drive a positive safety culture. Partner with Operations to drive standardized work and continuous improvement; help identify skill gaps and implement training. .Forklift operations - facilitate all training required for forklift certification and includes classroom/practical review, provide refresher training when needed. Must be willing to become a JJ Keller Certified Train the Trainer This is a FLEX position and requires working on the shift were needed Other Duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
1-3 years' experience in warehouse operations Broad knowledge of warehouse operations Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to work in a team environment Good computer skills (Microsoft Office operations)EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operationsCERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Possess or have ability to become forklift certified Valid Driver's License or equivalentLANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents, including protocols, standard operating procedures, customer orders, and pick tickets.REASONING ABILITY
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
