Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager in the greater Nasvhille area. The Learning & Development Manager has ownership to design, deliver and continuously improve specific learning and organizational development initiatives, including but not limited to, new hire training, career pathing and development, leadership development, and workforce planning, that align with our client's business strategy.
Responsibilities include:
  • Create, manage and implement our Talent Development Strategy including designing and facilitating new hire training, leadership development, career pathing and development, workforce planning, etc., ensuring they are consistently implemented, tracked and recorded
  • Be a trusted partner with the operations teams, support functions and Learning departments to ensure a high standard of safety, quality, productivity and customer experience
  • Research, design and facilitate training sessions for all levels of the organization building a better trained workforce and a pipeline for future leaders;
  • Partner with Production Managers/Supervisors to identify and develop an effective team of Training Associates;
  • Analyze data and partner with Production Teams, Safety and HR to identify opportunities and weaknesses where training can improve across the organization
  • Build new programs, suggest enhancements to current programs and lead implementation of improved training plans;
  • Ensure training documentation is compliant and up to date
  • Maintain a working knowledge of best practices as it relates to training and development; ensure the use of up-to-date training materials; verify accuracy and effectiveness

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, HR, Education or related field
  • 5+ years leading an entire training team and experience with LMS; IDP, CPD, CPTM, APTD, CPTD, CTDP, CTP, TTA, etc.
  • Some professional certification or training program related to training and/or LMS.
  • Minimum (3) years' experience in L&D in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong, enthusiastic presentation skills (both in-person and virtually)
  • Experience with e-learning development tools
  • Training certification (CPTM, CPTD, CDTP, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with training modules on UKG/Kronos strongly preferred
