Job Summary:
The Training and Documentation Program Manager is responsible for designing and implementing training and documentation strategies as they relate to University Advancement systems and processes. This individual will identify technical and process training and documentation needs and create the necessary collateral and courseware to support University Advancement and TCU staff, as applicable. The Program Manager will also be responsible for conducting training courses that have been developed, both in a classroom and individual setting.
Duties & Essential Job Functions:
1. Develops physical and digital training manuals, reference guides, and course collateral by becoming proficient in needed software technologies and meeting with University Advancement staff to understand learning requirements 2. Writes and maintains process and technical documentation for staff to describe operating processes and procedures 3. Conducts training courses in a classroom and individual setting to educate University Advancement and TCU staff in University Advancement systems and business processes 4. Provides timely, accurate responses to help desk inquiries, troubleshoots user issues, documents resolutions, and identifies recurring support trends to improve training materials and knowledge resources 5. Develops and delivers Microsoft Office training to Advancement staff with a focus on intermediate and advanced Excel functions, including data analysis tools, formulas, and productivity techniques 6. Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2 years' experience in instructional design and corporate or institutional training, or related experience
Preferred Education & Experience:

None Preferred Licensure, Certification, and/or
Specialized Training:
Certified Instructional Designer/Developer Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of business systems and software applications. Knowledge of office management procedures. Skills in some or all components of Microsoft Office. Skills in Microsoft Windows navigation techniques. Ability to develop detailed technical training manuals and materials. Ability to write and maintain business processes and procedures. Ability to conduct and teach courses in a classroom setting. Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to schedule, plan and carry out work in order to complete projects. Ability to communicate technical instructions to end-users.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations): Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information. Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication. Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions. Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting. Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.
Work Environment:
Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours. There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job. The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate. This is an on-campus, in-person position.
