Position Summary:
Ensures strategic alignment of the the training department with business goals. Optimizes training processes for efficiency. Selects and manages resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver current, evidence based applicable training courses. Responsible for assuring internal and external customer relationships including staff development and training activities for the center's employees and resource development. Work involves managing, coordinating, organizing, conducting and evaluating education and training programs in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards.Qualifications:
Education and/orExperience:
Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in human resources, organizational development, education, or a related field is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one anotherExperience training and/or teaching is highly preferredCase management, crisis adult mental health or IDD direct care experience is highly desirableCertificates, Licensure, Registrations:
Current drivers license and a vehicle for use at workKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of training procedures and techniques; of education principles, practices and techniques; of learning management and learning content management systems; of group processes, group dynamics, and interpersonal relations; and of instructional and curriculum designAbility to formulate learning objectives , to develop training objectives and assess training effectivenessSkill in oral and written communication, instructing others and facilitating workshopsAbility to speak a second language relevant to population served preferredMust be self-motivated, organized and detail orientedKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of traumaThe knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgroundsGeneral Requirements:
