Sr Product Training Manager Work Mode:

Onsite 4 days per week - Kohler, WI Opportunity We seek a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Product Training Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, owning and delivering engaging product training tools for new and existing products for assigned product categories as well as modeling emotionally intelligent leadership and communication. This role involves creating and implementing training strategies for each assigned category, working closely with product managers, engineers, and brand and channel marketing to ensure that their training programs accurately reflect the latest features and functionality of the products. They will also be responsible for training internal and external customers by focusing on telling appropriate stories, benefit-lead features, and differentiation. In addition, this individual will provide customer feedback that identifies gaps and opportunities in the market. This role will define processes to improve efficiency, ROI, and product training content. In this role, you will seek to: Develop and execute the assigned product categories training strategy Enhance the market launch of new products for sales team and customers with targeted training programs and content, including online and competitive comparisons Own training objectives and how they align with the business objectives. Optimize the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. Take on new opportunities and touch challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. Demonstrate high-level presentation/communication skills. Collaborate and foster relationships with internal and external partners. Set strong examples through work ethic, product knowledge, professional attitude, technical skill, and project management tools/philosophies used. Specific Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging product training content and tools for new and existing products in the portfolio. Create and implement a training strategy for each responsible category. Identify the target audience's training needs and design annual training programs accordingly. Work closely with product managers, engineers, and brand and channel marketing to ensure that their training programs accurately reflect the latest product features and functionality. Convert technical specifications into customer-led training content. Conduct training with internal and external customers Create high-impact learning experiences to accelerate learning and micro- learning. Provide feedback from customers that identify gaps and opportunities in the market. Ensure that all training materials are up to date and relevant to current offerings. Gain a deep understanding of the product or service and its potential applications within the industry. Design, develop, and present training programs that educate associates on best practices. Maintain current knowledge of our product offerings and competitors' products. Assess the organization's strengths and weaknesses in product knowledge and skills and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. Demonstrate appropriate competency in the following areas: Drive Continuous Improvement, Set High Standards of Performance, Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Business Acumen, Management of Self, Management/Development of Others, Focus on the End Customer, and Build Trust. Skills/Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or another related field. 10+ years of experience in product training or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A desire to consider and explore differences in perspective, thought, and experience from persons from a variety of backgrounds. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Travel to trade shows and customer visits as needed, approximately 30%. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
