HRBP Manager Summary The Labor Trainer is primarily responsible for ensuring laborers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles through effective training programs, helping to improve workforce productivity, safety and quality standards, and overall job satisfaction.
Education / Experience
High school, or equivalent experience. +1 year in the automotive industry performing quality/production assurance. Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in English (Spanish and/or Vietnamese desirable). Passion for learning and teaching others. Knowledge of quality standards and customer criteria. Familiarity with production, quality, and/or logistics procedures. Knowledge of 5S methodology. Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork and collaboration. Problem-solving and critical thinking. Ability to develop, deliver, and adapt training materials. Skill in evaluating performance and providing constructive feedback. Organizational skills to maintain accurate training documentation. Flexibility to spend time in workstations and support operations as needed.
Duties / Responsibilities
Maintain qualification in all activities to effectively train others. Execute ILUO training and qualification processes; develop and implement comprehensive training for new and existing associates. Create and update training materials, manuals, guides, visual aids, boards, and quality displays. Conduct both theoretical and hands-on training sessions. Update training documents and formats (e.g., Skills Matrix, writing tests). Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments. Monitor, assess, and document associate training progress and competencies. Ensure training activities comply with company policies and regulations. Provide training feedback and offer additional support to associates when needed. Maintain up-to-date training records and progress tracking. Keep process documentation current to ensure proper training, understanding, and execution. Spend time in workstations to maintain skills and observe processes. Support production, quality, and logistics operations as required. Work with Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure associates are placed in the proper workstations according to their qualifications and skills. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift). Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to demonstrate or assist with tasks. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed. Manual dexterity to handle training materials, equipment, and tools. Visual and auditory capacity to observe work, identify training needs, and communicate instructions effectively. Work performed in a manufacturing/production environment. Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Requires flexibility to move between production areas, training rooms, and office settings. May occasionally require extended hours to meet training schedules and production needs.
