Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each of the below duties satisfactorily: Collaborates with supervisor to organize, maintain and restock simulation laboratory supplies to include simulated medications, IVFs, personal protective equipment, and simulation accessories. Provides technical support for task trainers and multimedia peripherals including: Beds/examination tables, headwalls, patient monitors, wearables, and other health care equipment, vital sign monitors. Sets up and takes down simulation laboratory equipment. Sets up and maintains procedural simulators and all the accessories and props. Sets up and maintains computer-based training programs (VR, XR, and mixed reality). Provides theatrical production (costuming and moulage) for simulation scenarios as requested. Programs simulator software to model simulator's physiological response to instructor specifications. Operates patient simulators and cameras for the duration of simulations. Operates and maintains audio-visual and debriefing systems. Maintains simulation activities and student-learner confidentiality. Maintains current knowledge of simulation/lab equipment operation manuals. Maintains and assists with repairs of all simulation equipment Provides technical assistance and support to faculty and instructors in the use of simulation equipment. Demonstrates compliance with code of conduct and University policies and procedures. Performs other simulation job-related duties as needed.
Pay Range:
