Posted May 19, 2026 Real Estate Analyst - Development & Acquisitions (Multifamily) Irvine, CA | On-site Looking to transition from brokerage or acquisitions into development? This is it. A growing, entrepreneurial real estate investment and development firm with ownership of a variety of different asset classes is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Real Estate Development Analyst to join their Multifamily team specifically. This is a unique opportunity to work directly on live multifamily deals, supporting the full lifecycle from acquisition through development and execution. This role is ideal for candidates coming from investment sales, capital markets, or acquisitions backgrounds who want deeper exposure to how deals are actually sourced, structured, and brought to life. What You'll Be Doing Support the underwriting and evaluation of multifamily development and acquisition opportunities
Build and maintain financial models (DCF, cash flow, sensitivity analyses) to assess investment performance
Assist with investment memos, internal presentations, and lender/investor materials
Participate in due diligence processes, including review of rent rolls, operating statements, market data, and development assumptions
Assist with land and asset acquisitions, including tracking deal timelines, coordinating with legal teams, and supporting closing activities
Conduct research across key areas including market trends, construction costs, entitlements, financing sources, and design considerations
Support project execution and coordination, including tracking milestones and maintaining organized deal documentation What We're Looking For 1-2+ years of experience in real estate investment sales, capital markets, acquisitions, or development
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel required; DCF/IRR/cash flow analysis)
Experience working on or supporting real estate transactions
Understanding of multifamily assets, valuation, and market dynamics (comps, rents, cap rates)
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Nice to Have Background at a brokerage firm or acquisitions team
Experience preparing BOVs, Offering Memorandums (OMs), or investor materials
Exposure to development projects or land/site analysis
