Your work supports customers and internal teams as they learn, adopt, and confidently use TOMRA Food solutions in real‑world environments. Through thoughtful training experiences and clear communication, you make complex technology accessible and practical. By listening to customer needs and continuously improving how we teach, you help build long‑term capability and strengthen TOMRA Food's role as a trusted partner in the food processing industry.

In this role, you value working closely with customers and internal teams to understand their goals and challenges. You listen carefully, communicate clearly, and adjust your training approach to support different learning needs and real‑world conditions. Your approach helps customers feel supported and confident as they use TOMRA Food technology in their day‑to‑day operations
Primary Job Functions:
Design, develop, and deliver engaging training/course content for external customers and internal teams.

Creating and update engaging training materials, technical documents, and structured learning content that support onboarding, upgrades, and new product features.

Conduct additional training needs assessments during customer interactions and propose targeted training solutions to support skill gaps and product adoption.

Partner with field service, technical support, and service leadership teams to identify and address skills deficiencies with structured corrective training.

Support customers during implementation to encourage confident use and adoption of TOMRA technology.

Contribute to TOMRA Food's digital learning channels such as knowledge base articles, webinars, and online courses.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.

Deliver training projects on time and to a high standard of quality.

Promote a "Safety First" culture throughout the company, our customers, and our industry.
QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:
A Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechatronics, sustainable manufacturing, or industrial engineering is preferred.3+ years of experience in technical service or a comparable technical environment.

Experience delivering training in a technical or operational environment, including virtual or remote formats.

Ability to build trust and credibility when working with individuals and groups.

Ability to understand, interpret, and clearly explain technical concepts and procedures.

Experience reading, analyzing, and applying technical documentation and procedures.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for training delivery and documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Customer‑focused approach when delivering training and support.

Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally, with travel representing approximately 40% of the role.

Ability to work in an open office environment and at industrial customer sites.

Ability to work in food processing plants, farms, cold storage facilities, and outdoor environments with varying temperatures.

Additional InformationPay BandFor U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated annual base pay range for the Field Service Engineer position is $65,016 to $81,270. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
